SAPADERE KANYON TURU

Sapadere Canyon, located in the Sapadere district, is a unique natural wonder that fascinates visitors with its pristine beauty, preserving its natural beauty. Long known by locals, this canyon opened to tourism in 2008 and has become a popular alternative nature tourism destination in Alanya.

The Sapadere Canyon is approximately 360 meters long and was formed over centuries by water, wind, and earth movements shaping the rocks. A 350-meter wooden and steel walking platform, aligned with the natural texture, along the canyon allows visitors to explore nature safely and comfortably.

The canyon is home to various waterfalls, endemic plants, and interesting tree species. The large waterfall, in particular, is the canyon's most striking feature, both for its visual appeal and refreshing atmosphere. This area, which acts as an open-air studio for photography enthusiasts, offers unique shots with every step. In the summer, you can cool off in the natural pool formed beneath the waterfall. However, it's important to remember that the water temperature ranges between 0-12°C year-round.

During the tour, we'll have lunch at a wooden country restaurant, built in harmony with nature and generating its own electricity from running water. Located right next to the canyon, this restaurant offers a peaceful break surrounded by nature.

Our Sapadere tour isn't just about the canyon. Our program also includes Sapadere Village, a traditional Yoruk tent, local gözleme (Turkish flatbread), and Dwarf Cave, famous for its stalactites and stalagmites and striking resemblance to Damlataş Cave.
