Are you interested? The Alanya Village Tour is a cultural and nature tour where you will experience Yörük village life up close and witness the unique nature of the Taurus Mountains covered with pine forests.

Tour Details

The first stop of our tour is the Alanya Observation Terrace. From this spot, famous for its inscription "I LOVE ALANYA," the blue waters of the Mediterranean, Alanya Castle, and the entire city spread out before your feet.

Our next stop is Mahmutseydi Village. Located approximately 25 km from Alanya city center, at an altitude of 600 meters and surrounded by forests, this village was built on ancient ruins and takes its name from Mahmut Seydi, a saint who came from Khorasan. In the village, you'll visit the 800-year-old mosque and see some of the finest examples of woodcarving. Then, you'll explore village life in an old Turkish house, sip sage tea with the hospitable villagers, and experience their handicrafts.

Our tour continues along narrow paths through pine forests to the Gedevet Plateau. Here, you'll have lunch at a scenic picnic restaurant in Dereköy, reminiscent of the Dim River. After lunch, we begin our return journey, following the winding roads of the Taurus Mountains.
